Education Leaders Intensive for Organisations
Education Leaders Intensive Leadership Programme

The 10-week leadership programme, built exclusively for your organisation. 8 to 15 leaders. One shared experience. Real culture change.

When your leaders grow together,
the whole organisation shifts

This is the Education Leaders Intensive, run exclusively for your school or group of schools. The rigour is identical. The evidence-based frameworks are identical. The difference is that everything is shaped around your context, your people, and what you're actually dealing with.

You Already Know the Problem with Sending One Person

A leader goes away, learns some things, comes back energised. They want to do things differently. And then the culture pulls them straight back in.

That's not a knock on those programmes. It's just what happens when one person grows inside a system that hasn't moved. The individual develops. The organisation doesn't.

When your whole leadership team goes through this together, the frameworks become shared, the language becomes common, and the practice becomes collective. That changes what's possible.

What This Programme Does

It systematises 10 leadership fundamentals so they become automatic across your whole team. This frees up collective mental capacity to actually lead. Every leader, at every level, stops burning energy on thinking about how to lead and starts actually doing it.

The point is clearing the cognitive clutter. When that happens, every leader in your organisation has mental space for the work that actually matters.

Think about master teachers. Classroom management looks effortless because they've systematised the basics.

That's what this programme does for your leadership team. The fundamentals become automatic. The thinking gets freed up. The culture shifts.

The Difference

Individual development

  • One person grows, the system stays the same
  • No shared language across your leadership team
  • Practice scenarios with strangers, not colleagues
  • Hard to apply when you return alone
  • Energy fades without sustained peer support
  • The culture pulls you back in

Organisation Intensive

  • Your whole team grows together, in real time
  • Shared frameworks and language at every level
  • Scenarios drawn from your actual context
  • Coaching circles with people who work alongside each other
  • Peer accountability that continues long after the programme
  • The culture actually shifts

The Same Intensive Programme, Built Around Your World

Every scenario, every case study, and every practice session is shaped around what's actually happening in your school. Before the programme starts, we spend time together understanding your specific challenges, your culture, and what your leaders need to work on. That shapes how every session is run.

Pre-programme Diagnostic

A 90-minute session with your senior leadership team before we start. Not a sales call. It's proper preparation that shapes every session that follows.

Bespoke Scenarios

All role-play cards and practice situations come from your context. Not international schools in general. Your school, your challenges, your dynamics.

Coaching Circles from Within

Participants placed in circles of 3-4, deliberately mixed so people aren't always with their line manager. Shane is an active participant in every circle, not someone watching from the sidelines.

Group WhatsApp Community

One active group with Shane posting prompts, AI summaries twice a week, and staying properly in it throughout the ten weeks.

Shared Language and Frameworks

Ten frameworks that your whole team learns, practises, and carries into daily work. Leadership vocabulary becomes collective, not individual.

Certification for Everyone

Every participant receives their Education Leaders Intensive certificate and digital badge on completion.

How It Works

01

Strategy Call

We talk through your organisation's leadership context, what your team needs, and whether this is the right fit. An honest conversation about fit. If it's not right for your team, I'll tell you.

02

90-Min Diagnostic

A proper working session with your senior team to get under the skin of your specific challenges, culture, and dynamics. What comes out of it shapes every session of the programme.

03

10 Weeks Intensive

Weekly 2-hour live sessions, daily practice between sessions, coaching circles, WhatsApp community, and the full curriculum, built around your world.

04

Closing and Continuity

A closing session to reflect on growth, celebrate what's changed, and set up the habits that sustain the shift beyond the programme.

Real Support. No Fluff.

I want to be direct about what the support looks like. I'm involved throughout and I'm being straight with you about what that looks like. Promising individual daily WhatsApp conversations with fifteen people at once would be dishonest, so I don't. Instead, I'm properly present in the spaces where it actually counts.

Active group WhatsApp

One shared community space. I post prompts, respond to questions, and stay properly in it throughout the ten weeks.

Twice-weekly AI summaries

Posted every Tuesday and Friday. Covers the last three days of coaching circle activity so nobody falls behind when life gets busy.

Active coaching circles

I ask questions, challenge thinking, and contribute to the conversation. It's an active role, not a supervisory one.

Daily voice note reflections

60 seconds, end of each working day. Sent to the coaching circle, to me, or both. Simple structure provided so it stays easy.

Weekly deliverables checklist

At the end of every session, a clear downloadable list of exactly what to do that week. Everyone knows exactly what they're doing that week.

All session recordings

Every session recorded and available at shaneleaning.com/myintensive. Nothing missed if someone can't make a session.

10 Leadership Levers. Evidence-Based. Immediately Practical.

Each week focuses on one leadership lever. You'll get a vulnerable personal story from Shane first, then the research, then the practice. Lots of practice. 80% of every session is spent doing, not listening.

Week 0Welcome: building the community and setting up systems
Week 1Live Your Values
Week 2Use Your Experience
Week 3Communicate with Clarity
Week 4Master Your Meetings
Week 5Give Powerful Feedback
Week 6Nurture Potential
Week 7Delegate with Purpose
Week 8Develop Your Team
Week 9Own Your Decisions
Week 10Make Change Stick
Week 11Closing: reflection, celebration, and what comes next
Every session follows the same pattern: Shane opens with a personal failure story. Research comes next, explained simply. Then practice. Roughly half the session is spent doing, not listening. Participants leave with a clear checklist of what they're committing to that week.

Your Programme Leader

"Leadership development that doesn't actually develop you is just professional development theatre."

I've worked with thousands of school leaders across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. I understand the cognitive overload that comes with transitioning from excellent teacher to overwhelmed leader. I know what that feels like from the inside.

The organisation version of this programme came out of something I kept seeing: someone goes away, gets better, comes back, and the team hasn't moved. You're setting them up to struggle. Running the programme with your whole team removes that problem.

FAQs

How is this different from the open cohort?

The open cohort brings together leaders from different schools and organisations. This runs exclusively for your team, with every scenario, case study, and practice session built around your specific context. You also get a pre-programme diagnostic session that shapes the whole ten weeks.

Who is this for?

School leaders at all levels who are experiencing cognitive overload from leadership fundamentals. Works for a single school leadership team, a group of schools within the same trust or organisation, or a regional leadership cohort.

What's the time commitment?

5-6 hours per week: 2 hours for the live session and 3-4 hours for implementation between sessions. This includes a 60-second daily voice note reflection, which is much less burdensome than it sounds.

Do you work with non-school organisations?

The programme is designed specifically for school leaders, and the scenarios, research, and frameworks are all rooted in educational contexts. If you're not sure whether it's right for your organisation, get in touch and we'll have an honest conversation about fit.

When can we start?

The programme can be scheduled to suit your organisation's calendar. Get in touch to discuss timing and we'll find a start date that works. The January 2026 open cohort is currently running. If you'd like to discuss dates for your organisation, get in touch and we'll find something that works.

What if some participants miss sessions?

Every session is recorded and available on the resource hub. Participants can catch up without losing the thread. The coaching circles and WhatsApp community also help with continuity between sessions.
